| New Rental Restrictions for Residential Strata Properties: |
Although changes to rental restrictions in the Strata Property Act was legislated in 2000, the effects of the legislation were not scheduled to begin until January 1, 2006. Rental restriction by-laws passed by strata corporations could dramatically impact a homeowner's, landlord's and home buyer's ability to rent residential strata properties.
